Honing The Blade
A little over 20 years ago, I tried to make a documentary film about former professional boxer and middleweight champion Iran “The Blade” Barkley. This is an account of that attempt: https://www.amazon.com/Honing-Blade-Andrew-Davie-ebook/dp/B0BS2HYWPW

End of the year recap
Hello, everyone.
I hope you are all doing well. 2022 saw the release of The Posting Method and The Vig, extending the McGill/Gropper Series, From Beyond, supernatural historical, Range, historical crime fiction, Useless Knowledge?, a collection of essays, and Playing with House Money, an addendum to the memoir Land of Allusions. All of them are available through links on the Fiction page. Similarly, 2022 saw the resurgence of A Fistful of Faceful and more episodes of Happy Hour with Heather and Guest. It sounds like a lot, and it is, but it’s also easier when you don’t have a spouse, children, or pets. Regardless, enjoy the end of the year, have a happy holiday, and here’s to a good start in 2023.

A Fistful of Faceful
A Fistful of Faceful was a podcast my friend Martin and I began doing in 2013, in which I tried to convince him to listen to heavy metal music. Since then, it has gone through a few different format changes and a year hiatus. It is now back and a link is available on the “Shows” page along with a link to Happy Hour with Heather and Guest.
An Essay Collection
Over the last few years, I’ve written a lot of short essays that examine a multitude of different topics and experiences from my life. Some of them have been published on online journals. They are now available in paperback, Kindle, and hardcover. I hope you enjoy them. https://www.amazon.com/Useless-Knowledge-Collection-Andrew-Davie-ebook/dp/B0B5CLR259
The latest short story
136 “Depth Charge” – (Pulp Modern) A person reclaims a pawned instrument during a flood.
Since I’ve been back in school, I haven’t been working on as many short stories, but I’ll have a few books come out over the next few years.
